An Armed Police Force (APF) team detained two persons in possession of Rs810,920 in cash of suspicious provenance from Samsi border point in Mahottari on Friday.
The two detainees have been identified as Ramesh Kumar Sah of Samsi Rural Municipality and Anil Chaudhary of Ramgopalpur Municipality, according to the APF patrol team from Pokharbhinda border outpost.
They were on a motorcycle. The accused were handed over to Jaleshwar Customs Office for further investigation, said police.
