A 45-year-old man died after being struck by lightning in Balara Municipality-1, Sarlahi, on Saturday.
Police identified the deceased as Arjun Patel of Hathiyaul.
The incident happened when the victim was grazing buffaloes in the field. Patel died on the spot, said police. A buffalo was also killed in the lightning strike.
