Two people including a teenager died and another was injured when a speeding motorcycle hit an electric pole at Narsingh Than, Chhinnamasta Rural Municipality in Saptari district on Friday afternoon.

According to police, all three were on the motorcycle at the time of the accident.

The injured were taken to Chhinnamasta Hospital in Rajbiraj for treatment, where two of them died while undergoing treatment. The condition of the injured is stable, said police.
