A nine-month-old girl and both her parents, living in a rented apartment in Malangawa Municipality Ward 10, were injured when a fire broke out in their room due to a gas leak on Friday.

According to police, the incident occurred while the family was cooking.

All of them sustained burn injuries, and nearly 19 percent of their bodies were burned by fire.

All of them are receiving treatment at the provincial hospital in Koshi, said police.
