Local trader killed in hit-and-run in Rautahat

A local trader of Garuda in Rautahat district died in a hit-and-run along the Garuda-Chandranigahapur road section on Monday.
According to the District Police Office, 48-year-old Rajnarayan Sah of Garuda Municipality-4 died in the incident.
The vehicle rammed down Sah while he was on the roadside for his regular morning walk.
Meanwhile, the relatives and the locals disrupted vehicular movement along the Garuda-Chandranigahapur road stretch the whole day, demanding to find the vehicle involved in the incident and take strong action against the guilty.
Investigation is underway to identify the vehicle that hit Sah, said police.
