An earthquake measuring 3.7 on the Richter scale struck Ilam district on Saturday evening.
According to the National Earthquake Monitoring and Research Centre, the quake with the epicentre in Biblyante Bazar was recorded at 7:51pm.
Earlier on November 12, a mild earthquake of 5.4 magnitude jolted western Nepal.
Six people died following an earthquake that shook west Nepal on November 10.
Nepal is vulnerable to earthquakes as it is situated on the ridge where the Tibetan and Indian tectonic plates meet and advance two meters closer to one another every century which results in pressure which is released in form of earthquakes.
