Seven people died, and 16 others were injured when a bus travelling from Banepa towards Roshi met with an accident at Selfie Danda in Namobuddha of Kavre district on Friday.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Rabin Bista told the Post that seven bodies were recovered from the incident site.
The police, along with the locals, rescued all the injured and sent them to Dhulikhel Hospital for treatment.
“The police are investigating for details,” Bista said.
