Shridhar Pokharel of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has been elected from Bardiya-2, securing 29,678 votes. His nearest competitor, Kishor Rathore of the Nepali Congress, received 20,402 votes.
With this victory, the RSP has now won both constituencies in Bardiya.
In Bardiya-1, Thakur Singh Tharu also secured a seat in the House of Representatives election 2026, marking a clean sweep for the party in the district.
