Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) candidate Dr Amresh Kumar Singh has widened his lead in Sarlahi-4, pulling ahead of Nepali Congress president Gagan Kumar Thapa.
According to the latest vote count, Singh has secured 22,166 votes, while Thapa has received 15,053 votes. Singh currently leads Thapa by a margin of 7,813 votes.
Singh had previously been elected twice from the constituency as a Nepali Congress candidate and again in 2022 as an independent.
