Ramechhap
A four-year-old girl died after being hit by a vehicle at Chyasku Bazaar in Ramechhap Municipality–6 on Saturday afternoon.
Police Inspector Rajan Prasad Timsina of the District Police Office, Ramechhap, said that a four-year-old child died on the spot after a vehicle struck her.
“Preliminary information suggests that an auto-rickshaw driver drove the Bolero in the absence of its authorised driver, leading to the accident,” he said.
Locals said the vehicle entered a shop’s shutter while the girl was buying goods. Some more people were also injured in the incident.
The injured were taken to Ramechhap Hospital for treatment, the police said.
Police are investigating for details.
