Head constable dies after falling from cliff in Kavre

A police head constable died after falling from a cliff in Khanikhola Rural Municipality of Kavrepalanchok district on Monday.
The deceased has been identified as 35-year-old Ram Krishna Khadka, who was serving at the Phalametar police post.
Superintendent of Police Komal Shah, chief of the Kavre District Police Office, said Khadka fell from a cliff on Monday afternoon.
Khadka had left the police post at around 10 am on Monday in connection with official duties, the police said.
Khadka was later found at around 3:30 pm, having fallen approximately 25 feet from a narrow foot-trail.
The police are investigating the details.
