One killed, one injured in Kavre tipper accident

One person was killed and another injured in a tipper accident in Mandandeupur, Kavre, on Wednesday morning.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Rabin Bista said that the tipper plunged roughly 60 metres down a cliff at Kodari in ward number 6, of the municipality and caught fire.
The deceased has been identified as 28-year-old Kisim Rai from Ward No. 7, Jhagarpur, Mandandeupur. His body was found burnt at the site.
The co-driver, 22-year-old Bikram Rai, also from Ward No. 7, Mandandeupur, was injured in the accident. He received initial treatment at Dhulikhel Hospital and was later referred to Kirtipur Burn Hospital for further care, police added.
