Stone fall kills a man in Jajarkot

A 61-year-old man died after being hit by a falling stone in Jajarkot on Monday.
The deceased has been identified as Jay Bahadur Shahi of Kushe Rural Municipality-4.
Ward chair Nim Bahadur Shahi said that the man was collecting resin in a nearby forest when a stone fell from above, fatally injuring him.
Locals launched a search after Jay Bahadur did not return home until late evening and later found his body in the forest.
District Police Chief Basanta Kumar Sharma said a team led by a police inspector had reached the site to investigate the incident.
