Two dead, four injured in Rukum East auto-rickshaw accident

Two people died and four others were injured in an auto-rickshaw accident in Bhume Rural Municipality of Rukum East on Saturday evening.
The incident occurred around 7:30pm along the Mid-Hill Highway at Syawal in ward 1 of Bhume, according to police.
The auto-rickshaw heading to Brahatala from Lugum went out of control and plunged around 300 metres off the road, killing two women from the same family. The deceased are 30-year-old Regina Gharti and 25-year-old Phisolti Gharti of Lugum.
Police said the injured are receiving treatment at Rukumkot District Hospital. An investigation into the incident is underway.
