Gold and silver prices fall in domestic market following global decline

Falling global gold and silver prices have pulled down rates in the domestic market. The Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Association said gold is being traded at Rs241,900 per tola (11.66 gram) and silver at Rs3,015 per tola today.
After the Tihar holidays, gold prices fell by Rs11,600 per tola and silver by Rs265 per tola when trading resumed on Sunday.
On October 20, gold was priced at Rs253,500 per tola and silver at Rs3,280 per tola.
In the international market, gold is trading at USD 4,113 per ounce and silver at USD 48 per ounce, according to international media reports.
