Five injured in ambulance accident in Ramechhap

Five people were injured when an ambulance carrying a dead body to Kathmandu met with an accident in Ramechhap district on Thursday, police said.
The incident occurred near a forest area in Chharkhare, Khadadevi Rural Municipality-3, when the ambulance veered off the road and fell approximately 100 metres down the slope.
According to police, two of the passengers sustained serious injuries and have been referred to Kathmandu for further treatment. Three others suffered minor injuries.
The ambulance was en route from Doramba-Shailung Rural Municipality, transporting a body for post-mortem examination when the accident took place.
