Couple dies in road accident in Rukum West

A husband and wife lost their lives in a car accident at Sani Bheri Rural Municipality-10, Timile, on Monday afternoon.
According to District Police Chief DSP Pramesh Bista, 50-year-old Nar Bahadur Oli died at the scene while his wife, 44-year-old Lila Oli, died en route to the hospital. The couple, originally from Sarkimare in Sani Bheri-10, had been living in Dang and had returned to their home village to attend a family ritual.
The vehicle, carrying four people including the driver, veered off the road at around 2 pm, Bista said.
The crash left Nar Bahadur’s stepmother and the driver seriously injured. Both are receiving treatment at Mission Hospital in Chaurjahari.
