Tractor overturns in Taplejung, killing one

A 28-year-old man died in a tractor accident in ward 6 of Phaktanglung Rural Municipality on Saturday afternoon.
According to locals, Bhuchiring Sherpa of Iladanda was crushed by the same tractor he was travelling while going to Lelep to attend a festival.
Rural Municipality Vice-chair Bikash Samra said the tractor veered off the highway and fell onto a road below.
Locals said the driver fled the scene after the accident. A police team from Lelep Police Post reached the site, Deputy Superintendent of Police Ravi Rawal said.
The deceased is survived by his wife and two sons.
