Two killed in Bhojpur tractor accident

The tractor carrying manure overturns, killing ward member and local resident.

Bhojpur

Two people, including an elected ward member, died after a tractor transporting manure from Bokhim in ward 5 of Bhojpur Municipality met with an accident in ward 3 on Saturday night.

According to Superintendent of Police Yubaraj Timilsina, the deceased are identified as 52-year-old Nir Prasad Phuyal, a ward member of Bhojpur Municipality–5, and 55-year-old Bhakta Bahadur Thapa, both from the same ward.

Police said the tractor driver has been taken into custody, and further investigation is underway.
