A couple has died in a motorcycle accident on Friday night, at Tribhuvan Chowk, Ratuwamai Municipality-6. The motorcycle, en route from Aambari to Urlabari, reportedly went out of control and collided with an electric pole near Aambari.
The victims Som Tudu and his wife Vamani Hemaram, residents of Kalyanpur, Ratuwamai Municipality-1 were severely injured in the accident.
According to the District Police Office, Morang, the locals rushed them to a nearby hospital, where they eventually succumbed to their injuries during treatment.
