One dead, 27 injured in a tractor accident in Kailali

A tractor carrying Indian pilgrims met with an accident in Kailali, resulting in the death of one person and injuries to 27 others. According to the Kailali District Police Office, the incident occurred in Manikapur, Kailari Municipality-5, on Sunday.
The pilgrims were returning from the renowned Beheda Baba Temple in Kailali after completing their religious visit to the temple. They were from Lakhimpur Kheri in India. Police Inspector Meghraj Joshi reported that the fatality was identified as 11-year-old Ayush Burma, also from Lakhimpur Kheri.
The child was rushed to Seti Provincial Hospital but was declared dead by the medical staff upon arrival. The other 27 injured passengers were treated at Seti Provincial Hospital and Nisarga Hospital in Dhangadhi. Three of the injured are said to be in serious condition.
The police are investigating for further details.
