A 27-year-old man was electrocuted while repairing an internet cable in Mandredhunga in ward 7 of Gorkha Municipality on Sunday.

According to the District Police Office, Gorkha, Hari BK of ward 6 in Aarughat Rural Municipality suffered an electric shock while working on a fibre on a utility pole.

He was taken to Gorkha Hospital for treatment but succumbed to his injuries, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Indra Prasad Subedi. Police are investigating the incident.
