A 36-year-old woman injured in a gas cylinder explosion in ward 6 of Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City of Kailali died during treatment on Sunday.
According to the District Police Office, Kailali, Mina Khadka was undergoing treatment at the Kirtipur Hospital in Kathmandu.
Her 20-year-old daughter Chandra Khadka and 40-year-old local gas dealer Govindaraj Joshi, who were also injured in the incident, are still receiving treatment, police said.
The explosion occurred while installing a gas cylinder in the kitchen.
