A man died in a motorcycle accident in ward 12 of Itahari Sub-Metropolitan City on Saturday morning.
The motorcycle, en route from Itahari to Biratnagar, lost control, resulting in the death of the rider, police said.
The deceased has been identified as 24-year-old Puran Chaudhary of Biratnagar-10, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police Yubaraj Khatri of Sunsari.
Another passenger, 28-year-old Uma Sunuwar of Katari-2 in Udayapur, sustained injuries and is undergoing treatment, police said.
Police are investigating for further details.
