A 73-year-old man, Jung Bahadur Magar, died falling from a cliff in Khadbari Municipality-10, Magartol, Sankhuwasabha. According to Inspector Ram Kumar Lamichhane, the incident took place on Monday afternoon when Magar was tending to goats in the forest.
Magar reportedly fell from the Arunthan cliff, which stands at a height of approximately 200 metres. Lamichhane said that he had been grazing livestock in the jungle when the accident took place.
His body was later recovered and brought to the district hospital for post-mortem.
Police are investigating for details.
