Tractor-hit kills one in Jajarkot

A man was killed after being hit by a tractor in Kushe Rural Municipality, Jajarkot, on Thursday night.
The incident occurred at around 10:30pm when a tractor heading from Tharpubharm to Tapuchaur in ward 3 of Kushe Rural Municipality struck 50-year-old Dhan Bahadur Damai of ward 4.
He died on the spot, according to Jajarkot District Traffic Police Office’s Chief Assistant Sub Inspector Dilip Kumar Budha Chhetri. Police have taken the tractor driver, 19-year-old Rajendra Singh, into custody.
A 10-member police team led by Inspector Santosh Chand has been deployed to the site for further investigation, the district police said.
