One person was killed and another injured when a bus met with an accident in ward 3 of Temal Rural Municipality, Kavrepalanchok, on Thursday morning.
According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Min Bahadur Ghale, information officer of the District Police Office, Kavrepalanchok, Ram Singh Tamang, 50, of ward 1 of Temal Rural Municipality, died at the scene.
The bus, returning from dropping off a wedding party, plunged around 200 metres while reversing at a turn at 5:40 am.
The driver, Krishna Blon, 50, of Bagmati Rural Municipality, Makawanpur, sustained serious injuries and has been taken to Dhulikhel Hospital, police said.
