Two individuals lost their lives in separate road accidents in Rupandehi and Sankhuwasabha.
In Butwal, a motorcyclist died after being struck by a tipper on Nepalgunj Road around 10am on Thursday, according to Vijayraj Pandit, chief of the Area Police Office in Butwal.
The eastbound tipper collided with the motorcycle from behind, leaving the rider critically injured. He succumbed to his injuries during treatment. The victim’s identity has not yet been confirmed, and the tipper driver has been taken into custody.
In Sankhuwasabha, Rupesh Magar died after his motorcycle crashed near Ghumuane Chautara in Chainpur Municipality-2 on Wednesday night.Magar was travelling from Mayam to Tikhidhunga when the accident occurred. He succumbed to his injuries while being transported to BP Memorial Health Institute and Research Centre in Dharan on Thursday morning. The pillion rider, Kumar Magar, sustained serious injuries and is currently undergoing treatment in Dharan.Most Read from National
