The Nepal Italy Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NICCI) President Sanjay Agrawal and the Consul General of Italy in Kolkata Ricardo Dalla Costa discussed strengthening trade relations.

NICCI President Agrawal and Pratima Pandey, the honorary consul of Italy for Nepal, led the discussions from the Nepali side in Kolkata.

The meeting highlighted collaboration in key sectors such as manufacturing, agriculture, tourism, and technology, identifying potential growth areas for both countries, said NICCI.

Likewise, plans for upcoming business forums and trade fairs were outlined to promote cross-border investments and partnership opportunities.

Both parties reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing economic ties, with the goal of stimulating bilateral trade and investment between Nepal and Italy while exploring avenues to engage the broader South Asian market.
