The Nepal Student Union, the student wing of the Nepali Congress, protested in Kathmandu on Sunday, demanding an investigation into cases of cooperative fraud.
The student leaders marched from Maitighar Mandala to New Baneshwar, chanting slogans against Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Home Affairs Rabi Lamichhane. They demanded his resignation.
They also demanded the government deliver justice to the victims.
The protest comes as the Congress has stalled the parliament, demanding a parliamentary probe against Minister Lamichhane.
Here are some photos of the protest captured by the Post’s photojournalist Angad Dhakal.
