The 18th edition of the NADA Auto Show 2026 opened at Bhrikutimandap in Kathmandu on Tuesday, with Vice President Ramsahay Prasad Yadav inaugurating the six-day event.

More than 150 brands are participating in the show this year, with over 200 stalls featuring vehicles, components, financial services and other products related to the automobile industry. This year’s event is themed “From Industry to Employment.”

Brands including Hyundai, Tata, BYD, Deepal, Leapmotor, BAIC, Hongqi, Avatr, Aion, Changan, Chery, Geely and Skywell are among those displaying their latest models. Motorcycle makers including Royal Enfield, Yamaha and Honda are also participating.

The exhibition also features companies dealing in auto components, tyres, lubricants, spare parts and accessories.

The show will run through August 30 with discussions planned on automobile policy, investment, auto insurance, road infrastructure, government policy, the growing arrival of new vehicles and employment in the sector.
