The scheduled Finland trip of Minister for Foreign Affairs NP Saud has been cancelled citing “unavoidable circumstances”.
The foreign minister would not be able to leave for Helsinki as scheduled earlier, the foreign ministry said in a statement.
Saud was set to leave for Helsinki on Sunday night to participate in the Second UN LDC Future Forum scheduled for March 5-6.
The development comes amid Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal’s preparations to reshuffle the Cabinet.
Earlier in the day, the ministry had shared the details of the foreign minister’s participation in the UN event and his meetings on its sidelines in Helsinki.
