Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal’s Chief Political Advisor Haribol Gajurel resigned from his position on Thursday.
Gajurel had tendered his resignation on December 6. However, it wasn’t approved so far. He had not been involved in official administrative tasks thereafter.
According to the prime minister’s Secretariat, the resignation was approved on Thursday, with effect from the day of submission.
A senior Maoist leader Gajurel, who was denied a ticket to contest the November polls in 2022, was appointed prime minister Dahal’s chief advisor on January 23, 2023.
