Prime Minister Dahal arrives in Hangzhou
The prime minister is scheduled to hold talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping today.Post Report
Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal arrived in Hangzhou, China on Saturday.
Dahal, who will attend the opening ceremony of the 19th Asian Games in the city, was received by Chinese Minister for General Administration of Sport and Chinese Olympic Committee President Gao Zhidan, Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Chen Song, and Bishnu Pukar Shrestha, Nepali ambassador to China.
Dahal had left for China after completing his engagements in New York, including his address to the 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly.
The prime minister is leading a Nepali delegation including Foreign Affairs Minister NP Saud, Foreign Secretary Bharat Raj Paudyal and other senior government officials.
Prime Minister Dahal is scheduled to hold talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping later in the day. He will leave for Beijing on Sunday and will meet his Chinese counterpart Li Chiang on Monday.
