Uddhav Poudel has been nominated vice-chairman of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party.
Chairman Rajendra Lingden nominated Poudel, a member of the central work execution committee, as the vice-chairman on Thursday as per the party’s statute, said Mohan Shrestha, spokesperson of the party.
With the appointment, the number of vice-chairmen in the party has reached eight.
The party already had Buddhiman Tamang as senior vice-chairman and Rabindra Mishra, Roshan Karki, Bikram Pandey, Dhruva Bahadur Pradhan, Mukunda Shayam Giri and Hem Raj Gurung as vice-chairmen.
