National Assembly chairman Ganesh Prasad Timilsina successfully underwent varicose veins surgery on Wednesday.
The Undersecretary of the Upper House Sushila Acharya issued a note of thanks on Wednesday informing that Timilsina had undergone the surgery at the Maharajgunj-based Manmohan Cardiothoracic Vascular and Transplant Centre.
“The Upper House chairman, who was admitted to the hospital on Tuesday, underwent surgery following the doctor’s and the health officials’ advice,” reads the notice.
Acharya further extended her gratitude to the team of doctors, medical officers and support staff, and everyone involved, for their work.
Timilsina is currently in stable condition.
