CPN-UML leading vote count under proportional representation category

The CPN-UML has maintained its lead in vote count tally under the proportional representation (PR) category in the federal elections as per the latest update.
As of 8 pm on Sunday, UML has garnered 2,455,287 votes. The Nepali Congress is trailing UML with 2,338,206 votes and the CPN (Maoist Centre) is in third place securing 1,027,649 votes.
Meanwhile, the Rastriya Swatantra Party stands fourth on the list. It has received 1,011,554 votes so far.
The Rastriya Prajatantra Party is in fifth place with 531,773 votes.
Meanwhile, under the first-past-the-post category, the Congress is at the top position with 53 seats as the vote counting is entering the final stage.
UML is placed second with a win in 41 constituencies.
The CPN (Maoist Centre) is placed third in the seat tally winning 17 seats as the CPN (Unified Socialist) is placed fourth with registering victory in 10 constituencies.
Rastriya Prajatantra Party and Rastriya Swatantra Party have been able to secure seven seats each under the FPTP category.
