Ganesh Paudel of Rastriya Swatantra Party takes an early lead in Rupandehi-2 garnering 334 votes as per the latest vote count update.
CPN-UML vice-chairman Bishnu Prasad Paudel is trailing with 293 votes as of 5:15pm.
UML’s Paudel was elected the House of Representatives member in 2017 polls from the constituency with a margin of over 22,000 votes.
Meanwhile, Keshav Bahadur Thapa Magar of Rastriya Janamukti Party is in the third place in the vote tally with 224 votes.
