Government recommends federal parliament session on May 11

The government has recommended convening a session of the federal parliament, including both the National Assembly and the House of Representatives, on May 11.
A Cabinet meeting held on Tuesday decided to call the session and forward the recommendation to the President, said government spokesperson Sasmit Pokharel, also a Minister for Education, Science and Technology and Youth and Sports.
According to him, the government has proposed that the federal parliament session be convened at 2 pm on May 11.
Under constitutional provisions, the President summons sessions of both Houses on the recommendation of the Council of Ministers.
