A Twin Otter aircraft of the Nepal Airlines that took off to Bhojpur from Kathmandu returned after a few minutes in the air owing to a technical glitch.
A pilot who refused to be named said the aircraft carrying 15 passengers started vibrating unnaturally following an issue with the flight control system.
The aircraft of the national flag carrier had taken off from the Tribhuvan International Airport at 6:45am.
The aircraft was scheduled to return to Kathmandu carrying 10 passengers from Bhojpur and flew to Dang. Passengers in both sectors have been left stranded after the aircraft was grounded.
