Kantipur Publications Ltd is launching a special subscription scheme starting Friday. Under this five-month-long “Subscribe and Drive Reloaded” special scheme, of the new subscribers or those renewing their subscriptions of The Kathmandu Post and Kantipur dailies, the bumper prize winner will get a Kia Sonet car.

Every month, one subscriber will get a Segway electric scooter, and every week one lucky winner will get a 43-inch LED TV.

Every subscriber will also be covered with an accident insurance policy of up to Rs500,000 from Shikhar Insurance Company. Similarly, subscribers buying health insurance policy from Shikhar Insurance Company will get a discount of Rs750 from the company.

According to Manoj Basnet, head of the sales and distribution department of Kantipur Publications, newspaper subscribers can get cash discounts between Rs250 and Rs3,400 from scratch coupons.

Those whose subscription period has not expired can also participate in this scheme by renewing their subscription.

“Our team will visit households to make this campaign a big success,” said Basnet.
