Police have arrested three persons on the charge of smuggling 105kg of hashish.
They were arrested from Gajuri in Dhading district on Sunday.
According to police, a joint team from District Police Office and Gajuri police seized five plastic sacks of the contraband hidden under the back seat of a passenger bus (Na 5 Kha 2812) during a security check at Gajuri. The vehicle was en route to Birgunj from Kathmandu.
The arrested are bus driver Lal Bahadur Sah, 45, of Birgunj Metropolitan City-8, conductor Anil Chaudhary of Karaiyamai-5, and Sri Ram Sah Kanu, 19, of Bindyabasini-3.
