PM Oli to visit Switzerland

The forum will run from January 22-25 at Davos of Switzerland. The Prime Minister will be accompanied by Foreign Minister Pradeep Gyawali, Foreign Secretary Shankar Das Bairagi, PM’s chief advisor Bishnu Rimal, foreign advisor Rajan Bhattarai, among other officials. PM Oli’s entourage will have 19 members.
The PM will address a session on Strategic Outlook on South Asia during his visit. Foreign Ministry informed that the PM will also participate in a session titled Beyond the GDP. The conference will be attended by the chiefs of government from across the world.
Sources said the PM will also visit government heads or foreign ministers of various donor countries on the sidelines of his visit. He is also expected to hold a meeting with the president of Switzerland.
Likewise, the PM is preparing to visit France after wrapping up his Switzerland visit, an advisor to the PM informed. Foreign Ministry is making necessary preparation towards that end. Nepal and France are celebrating 70th diplomatic anniversary this year.
