A person was killed in a house fire at Tarigaun in Tulsipur Sub-metropolitan city, Dang, on Friday night.

The fire that engulfed house of Ram Prasad Poudel killed the person whose name has not been known yet. The deceased was a tenant in Poudel’s home.

Locals said the deceased used to make concrete rings. Police said the fire was caused by an electric short circuit.
