According to a press statement issued by Kuala Lumpur-based Nepal Embassy on Wednesday, Mim Bahadur Ghale, of Baseri-3, Dhading; Ram Kumar Yadav, of Masina-6, Rupandehi; Bishal Budathoki, of Amargadi-5, Dadeldhura; Sanjay Urao, of Paschin Kisaha-9, Sunsari; Bal Bahadur Kulung, and Aita Singh Gole, of Siddhithumka-9, Ilam died after consuming toxic alcohol.
However, the identity of Gole is yet to be ascertained, read the statement.
The statement said Ghale died during treatment at Kajang Hospital while the other died at Sungai Buloh Hospital in Malaysia.
Meanwhile, 16 other who fell ill after consuming the toxic booze are receiving medical treatment at various hospitals.
