The installation of petroleum pipeline from Motihari, India to Amalekhgunj, Bara, has begun. It is one of the priority projects of Nepal.
Indian Company, Likhiya Infrastructures, contracted to lay the 36.206 km pipeline has begun the work and it is expected to take 15 months to be completed, said Sharad Kumar Poudel, the project chief. The project is estimated to cos Rs 3.50 billion.
