Baglung police has said that the two suspects arrested earlier this week in connection to a woman’s death in Galkot Municipality-5 had committed the crime after the victim refused their proposition of a three-way sex tryst.

Khim Bahadur Niure, 57, and Nisha Regmi, 31, were taken into custody on Sunday after the body of Janakali BK, was discovered at Daram Khola three weeks ago. 

Superintendent of Police Chandra Kuber Khapung of District Police Office on Friday told the media that Niure and Regmi had murdered BK on the night of October 11 after the latter turned down their threesome proposal.

“The trio was having a party on the night of the incident when Niure and Regmi proposed BK a group sex proposal. BK was attacked with a sharp-edged weapon when she refused to engage in a sexual escapade with Niure and Regmi,” SP Khapung said.

The husbands of Regmi and BK are out of the country for employment. Niure’s wife was in Myagdi when the incident took place.

Niure and Regmi have been remanded to custody pending further probe.

“The suspects have already admitted to the crime, but we are still investigating if they had other motive for committing the crime,” SP Khapung said.
