Two persons died and three others were injured when a bus hit another bus from behind at Devdaha in Rupandehi on Monday.
The deceased have been identified as Sujan Pariyar, 29, of Khalanga-2, Salyan and Bhim Bahadur Sunuwar, 50, of Panchapuri Municipality-5, Surkhet.
Pariyar died on the spot while Sunuwar breathed his last during the course of treatment, according to Regional Traffic Police Office, Butwal.
The injured are receiving treatment at the Lumbini Zonal Hospital.
Sumitra Sunuwar, 35, of Deukhuri Municipality, Dang, is said to be in critical condition.
The bus (Na 7 Kha 698) heading towards east from west hit another bus (Na 5 Kha 3159) en route to same direction this morning.
