Property worth an estimated Rs 20 million was gutted in a fire that broke out at a car decoration accessories shop in Kuleshwor of the Capital on Tuesday.
The conflagration occurred at the shop owned by Ram Krishna Baidar Shrestha at around 4 pm today, police said. However, security personnel, fire engine vehicle and locals doused the fire before it spread to other houses, Metropolitan Police Circle, Kalimati said.
Police said the fire could have been caused by electric short circuit.
