The incessant rainfall continuing since the past one week has brought down at least two houses here at Dandafaya village of Simikot rural municipality – 7, located in the northern rim of the district.
The continuous rain battered the house belonging to one Gagan Singh Kami and destroyed clothes, crockery and food commodities. Another house with only three rooms belonging to Amrite Kami was also destroyed in the downpour causing a loss of Rs 232, 500.
District's Natural Disaster Chief cum Chief District Officer (CDO), Dhan Prasad Sharma Poudel, distributed relief to the villagers incurring losses in the downpour at the rate of Rs 5000. RSS
